PETERSBURG, Va -- John Tyler Community College will be holding a virtual Fall Career Fair featuring various employers Oct. 20 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to help students, alumni and members of the community connect to job opportunities.
Attendees will have access to contact local employers at the online career fair through live chat, videos, virtual tours, and downloaded brochures that highlight job opportunities. A full list of businesses participating in the event may be found at the college’s website after Oct. 14.
"We know many of our students and alumni and members of our community have had their employment impacted by the pandemic, and we want to help them learn about the jobs area employers need to fill," said Ashley Pinney, career and internship coordinator at John Tyler in a press release.
