PRINCE GEORGE – The Southside Physicians Network held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday for the newest practice in their ever-growing network.

SPN’s new OB/GYN practice is located in The Crossings Shopping Center in Prince George County with Friday’s ribbon bringing SPN staff, family and friends, well-wishers, and area residents and officials to the office to celebrate.

It is anticipated that this obstetrics and Gynecology practice, Tri-Cities OB/GYN Associates, will better serve Prince George, Dinwiddie, Fort Lee, and Central and Southside Virginia.

“Southside Physicians Network wants to provide much-needed quality OB/GYN care to the Prince George community,” said Brandon Seier, System Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Southside Regional Medical Center. “Because all of our providers deliver at Southside Regional Medical Center, families don’t have to travel to Richmond to deliver. Plus, for Soldiers and their families, we are conveniently located just outside Fort Lee. We’re excited to open this new office and look forward to caring for our neighbors in Prince George, Central Virginia, and the Tri-Cities.”

Providers practicing at the new Southside Physicians Network, Tri-Cities OB/GYN Associates, are D. Bazile-Harrison, MD; Paul Meyers, MD; Anu Akinsanya, MD; Ashani Andrews PA-C; K. Rao Kudaravalli, MD; and Zvonko Spasic, MD.

“I think it is very important for women in our area to have more access to medical care,” said Marlene J. Waymack, Prince George County Board of Supervisors. “This is exactly what this new office of Southside Physicians Network represents. In addition to better access, there is increased opportunity for better care for women. Women’s health has been in the news lately, and it is important to remember that women need specialized care. Prince George is always happy to support new businesses in our county, but we are delighted to welcome this new OB/GYN practice and their professional staff.”

It is always the goal of Southside Physicians Network that their practices provide the community with the best quality care, in a welcoming environment.

SPN is a patient-focused group of doctors and medical providers committed to improving the health of communities from the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas and counties, to Emporia and Greensville County. SPN brings more than 18-years of experience and a 92% satisfaction rating to its patients.
