PRINCE GEORGE – A Prince George County man has lost his life after crashing along U.S. Route 460 in nearby Isle of Wight County Sunday.

That information was revealed by Virginia State Police spokesperson Corinne Geller who said the crash occurred on May 26 just after 1:30 p.m. near Route 646.

While there were few details released, Geller said the 2015 Toyota Sienna driven by 75-year-old Louis Zaborsky, II of North Prince George was heading eastbound when it crossed the center line and ran off the left side of the roadway. The Sienna struck a mailbox and a fence before coming to rest in a nearby ditch.

Zaborsky was taken to Suffolk’s Sentara Obici Hospital, where he died later that Sunday.

According to Geller and the investigating trooper, he was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and their crews are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
