No injuries after gunfire pierces county home; police search for suspect

PRINCE GEORGE – Local authorities are searching for whoever is involved in a Tuesday evening shooting that saw numerous bullets fired into Prince George County home while the residents were inside.

According to police, just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night, officers were called to the 12000 block of Johnson Road regarding a shots fired call and when they arrived, it was determined that an unknown suspect opened fire on the home.

As they collected evidence, police confirmed they recovered nearly a dozen cartridge cases from the scene. Even though the residents were inside the home when the gunfire started, no one was injured.
