VIRGINIA – It only took just over three days for the Commonwealth to see its first measurable snowfall of 2018 as a potent storm system brought plenty of snow across the region and across the Eastern Seaboard late Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Dropping several inches around southern Virginia, most school divisions opted to close their doors for the remainder of the week so crews could continue to tackle area roads and school officials can work to get their facilities clear and ready for students once road conditions improved.
The pair of snow days afforded many the chance to get outside and enjoy the powdery snow and some of those people took their cameras outside to capture the fun that was being had!
