Everything you need to know for Prince George HS Graduation

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George High School Class of 2017 will graduate on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 9:00 AM with commencement exercises at the Athletic Complex located behind N. B. Clements Junior High School.

Parking for patrons and guests will be available at Prince George High School in the Student Parking and Driver’s Education Range lots by colored permit only. Additional parking will be available in the Courthouse and County Administrative Building Parking areas with school bus shuttle service to/from the Athletic Complex. School bus shuttle service will begin at 7:00 AM and conclude one hour after close of the commencement exercises. Here is the plan for the shuttle service.

If inclement weather forces cancellation of the planned outdoor commencement ceremony, then the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Prince George High School Gymnasium on June 17, 2017, at a time to be decided depending on circumstances. Each graduating senior will be allowed three (3) tickets for patrons or guests to enter the Gymnasium for viewing of the commencement exercises. The district will not allow anyone without a ticket to enter the building.

Also, each graduating senior will receive information on purchasing a DVD of the commencement exercises.

The Baccalaureate Service will be held on June 10, 2017 / 3:00 PM at Union Branch Baptist Church located at 3356 Union Branch Road, South Prince George, Virginia. Senior Convocation exercises will be conducted on June 11, 2017 / 3:00 PM at the Prince George High School Gymnasium.

  1. Bright Blue – Students’ Parking Lot
  2. Green – Teachers’ Parking Lot
  3. Pink – Field House Parking
  4. Neon Yellow – Rt. 156 side of Press Box
  5. Purple – Laurel Spring side of Press Box
  6. Red – N.B. Clements’ Lot

NO color coded pass – Overflow parking at Prince George Courthouse.
