Comcast office robbed at gunpoint, search for suspects continues

PRINCE GEORGE – Two men brandishing a firearm robbed the county’s local Comcast office along Puddledock Road and authorities are asking for the public’s help to bring to suspects to justice.

According to police, just before 2:30 p.m. on September 1, officers were called to the Comcast Customer Service Center along E. Whitehill Road near the Petersburg-Prince George line for a report of an armed robbery.

Two masked suspects approached two employees as they closed the business for the day and one of the offenders used a gun to force the employees back into the business. 

The offenders ordered the employees to open the safe. Both employees complied with demands and turned over the money in the safe. The employees were not harmed in this incident. 

The first suspect is described as a male, 5’9” to 6’ tall; wearing a black jacket, a Halloween style mask covering his face,  gloves, black pants, and tennis shoes.  The second suspect is described as a female, 5’5” to 5’9” tall; wearing a black jacket, a Halloween style mask covering her face,  gloves, black pants, and tennis shoes. 

The suspects fled on foot possible getting into a silver in color pickup truck seen leaving the area.
